Black Velvet Venetian Slipper with Embroidered Paint Splatter are dress slippers hand cut from a single pattern of decadent plush velvet.
Venetian slippers are made with a contemporary round tongue, ideally suited as velvet loafers or evening slippers.
Handmade in Norwich since 1874, our English slippers are still manufactured using time honoured shoemaking practices such as clicking, turning and lasting all by hand.

It was such a joy to rip up the rule book for our made to order slippers, and never have we done so more than with these black velvet embroidered Venetian slippers. Borne out of a conversation during a business trip to London, we had a lot of fun creating the original paint splatter design with real paint before designing this embroidered pair.
While it may seem that you finally have a pair of something smart to do your DIY in, we believe they’ll do just as well out in public, and with the rubber sole, they’re perfect for outdoor wear.
