In the terms “you” refers to the customer or person viewing or using the website, “us”, “we” and Bowhill & Elliott refers to the owners of Bowhill & Elliott. All care and attention has been given to ensure that the technical information, descriptions and colour matching is as accurate as possible. However the reproduction of colour is only as accurate as photography and publishing processes will allow.
Therefore we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy and customers should keep this in mind when ordering.



All Bowhill & Elliott prices are quoted inclusive of United Kingdom VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT) – which is charged at the prevailing rate. VAT is not chargeable on orders outside the EU.

However customers receiving goods outside the EU are responsible for any local tax and or duties if applicable.

Making a Contract With Us

Once you have placed an order, confirmation will be sent via e-mail with an order reference number. When availability of the goods has been checked we will e-mail again confirming that we accept the order and that a contract has been made between us. At this time will we take payment. Orders may be placed via the web site, by letter, telephone or e-mail. Acceptance of orders and promises for delivery are given conditionally upon our being able to secure the items ordered and without responsibilities for delays arising through uncertainties of manufacture, strikes, accidents, or other causes beyond our control.


All deliveries are subject to stock availability and authorisation of your payment. For all deliveries we use UPS courier service.
Customers receiving goods outside the EU are responsible for any local Tax and or duties if applicable. Please note if a customer refuses to accept delivery of goods we will only refund once we have received the returned goods and the refund will be net of any charges incurred by us in recovering them.

Cancellations and Returns

It is our intention to offer a problem free mailing service to you. Our reputation depends on our level of service and our customer satisfaction. All items are checked thoroughly prior to dispatch, and should reach you undamaged and ready for use.
In the unlikely event that goods received are faulty or damaged, a replacement will be sent or a total refund given.
Should you find the goods unsuitable (wrong size, colour, etc.) a full exchange will be offered, providing the shoes show no sign of wear and are in a saleable condition and returned in the original box, however you will be obliged to pay the cost of return. Contact must be made within 14 days if you wish to make a return. If you purchase a monogram or customise any of the designs offered we will not accept returns. To reduce the risk of getting the wrong size we strongly recommend having trial fittings before completing your order.
We ask that you ensure the goods are packaged adequately, to protect against damage in transit and advise that a signed for delivery service is used for EU returns.
For those returning OUTSIDE the EU please DO NOT USE A COURIER SERVICE, as this will entail excessive clearance fees, we will either refuse delivery or charge the fees back to you.
Please write clearly on the package RETURNING UNSUITABLE GOODS TO SENDER and NO COMMERCIAL VALUE on the customs form, we will nor accept packages that incur duty charges.

Orders may be cancelled at any time up to 10 working days after delivery. To do this please e-mail or write to let us know your intention, you do not have to give a reason for cancellation. However a brief explanation would be very useful to us and would hopefully help us improve our service to you. If you cancel your order you must return the goods to us at your own expense in an undamaged condition, see notes above.

Ownership of Goods

All goods remain the property of Bowhill & Elliott (East Anglia) Limited until paid for in full by the customer.

Risk of Goods

All risks in the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery.


Shipping costs, to mainland UK we charge a flat rate of £10.00 per pair. This is by signed for courier, you must provide us with an address where the goods can be received and signed for and a telephone number.

The rest of the world charges are £25.00 per pair, but there may be some exceptions to these prices.
