FAQs

Where are you based?

We are based at 65 London street, Norwich, Norfolk. A city rich in it's shoemaking history.

Do you make indoor slippers?

Our Turn slippers are ideal as a house shoe, due to their soft sole construction but our signature Albert dress slipper with a cemented sole, can also be worn inside.

Do you make bespoke slippers?

Technically bespoke slippers would mean that we would need to measure your individual feet, and create a custom last to your specific measurements. We specialise in Made-to-Order using our own lasts, creating personalised bespoke design, just for you. As part of our Made Your Way offering, we take our existing lasts, (you have a choice of two, in terms of foot shape) where we open up our workshop, allowing you full access to our range of uppers, linings and sole units.

What shoe size am I?

The size of shoe you buy with us at Bowhill & Elliott will be a UK size, which might differ from your native shoe size. For European, American and Japanese shoe size conversion, please see our Size Guide

Do you ship internationally?

We do indeed. All shipments to the UK, EU & USA will be sent including tax, duties and tariffs paid, so no nasty surprises when the item lands. Rest of the world deliveries will be sold excluding tax, duties, shipping fees, which are paid by the receiver in full. Our delivery cost per order varies, £10 flat fee for orders shipped within the UK, shipping to Europe is £40 and the rest of the world costing £50.

Where can I find Bowhill & Elliott slippers in London?

We have a number of stockists all over the world, from Brussels to Bangkok. In London we are stocked at Bryceland's & Co and Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, who have a small selection of our slippers.
